Decorating Dilemma--Help!

My friends, family, and followers have great ideas and suggestions so I'm turning to you for decorating help!!

I fell in love with this quilted wall hanging pattern when I saw it. The base looks like this:
Then throughout the year I will change out the panel in the middle to coordinate with the season. Right now I have this one made:

And I plan to make these:

My dilemma is where to hang it. Originally when I bought the pattern I thought I would hang it on my front door. The front door is covered by the porch roof so it wouldn't get wet, snowed on, etc. But, then I realized the damage the flies and other insects would have. So I vetoed that. We tried out some places in the house, but I can't decide. Please help!

We tried it here, between the windows and the french doors in the family room.
Or here, between the windows and the bookshelves in the family room.
Or it could possibly go in the dining room. (sorry about the flash--I'm not a photographer)
It could go on the inside front door, but the outside door usually has a wreath of some type on it, so you wouldn't see it from outside, and I do like the glass in the door.
Or I could move the photo (sticking out the sides) and put it here in the foyer.
I really think it belongs somewhere by the door, but I'm not sold on any of the places. Please leave me a comment and make your suggestion. If you know my house and you can think of a different spot, I'm open for suggestions!

I think it should go in the foyer and move the picute.

If you're willing to move the foyer picture, that makes sense. Otherwise I really like it on the red background in your family room (goes well with the wallhanging), and since you always do seasonal decorations, I think it would be fine there too. I did not like it covering up the glass on the door or in the dining room, though. Will you tell us what you decide on?

Hi Kim, I really think that you should hang it on one of your French doors during the winter months. It would warm up your room.....

i agree with jill and aunt ruth...i like it in the foyer so it is one of the first thing guests see. but, if you want to see and enjoy it more, i like it between the door and window in the living room. good luck...

I'm not going to be original...I really like it against the red...but I think you would notice it more if it was in the foyer against the white...

What about on your glass doors to the screened in porch? I can't remember what exactly that looks like

I loved it on the red walls! But I agree that it would be nice if guests would see it when they walk in the front door. If you put it on the wall at the landing going upstairs, could it be seen from the foyer?

I'm with Aunt Ruth and think it should go in the foyer. It looks good with the paint you have there and it would be in the entry way.

I cast my vote for the foyer. It looks good with your colors there.

I agree with the majority of the other comments...I like it best in the foyer.

The foyer has my vote.

Although I like the concept of having it in the foyer, I just think you will have a harder time finding a place for the picture. Besides, I like the red wall with it. My vote is probably for next to the french doors. We can look at it this weekend when we come down.

I liked it in the foyer. If not there It looked nice in the dining room too.

I agree with Trina. You will have a much harder time finding a new place for the picture. I need to be there and see it for sure before I really vote.

I don't think you should put it on a door. I think it looked really good on a red wall.
