I do try to use the ideas I have pinned. Several recipes have looked better than they actually were, but I recently found a good one. Taco seasoning is something that I use often. I usually buy the packages of seasoning but since I'm always looking for ways to cut my grocery budget I decided to try the recipe for taco seasoning.
I gathered my spices.

Taco seasoning mix
Ingredients
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt and pepper. Store in an airtight container. Season to taste.

I tripled the recipe so that I can have it on hand and ready to go. This is definitely a keeper! Have you found any good recipes on Pinterest?

Awesome, Kim! I have everything needed in my spice cupboard! Definitely going to do. I too have tons of pins, and an overload of recipes. I still haven't tried any, and each time I pin another, I tell myself I really need to try this. I'm going to go through and find something different for dinner tonight.
