My name is Kim, and I am a Pinterestaholic!! I have soooooooo many pins there is no way I could ever make/do them all! But from time to time I do actually try one. This time I tried ..........

1/2 cup butter, melted

TOPPING
1 cup butter, soft
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour (or cup4cup if gluten free)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×13 glass baking pan with cooking spray or coconut oil spray. Set aside.
In a mixer, add the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, milk, eggs, and vanilla. Once combined well, slowly stir in the melted butter. Pour into pan.
For the topping, mix the butter, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together until well combined and creamy. Drop evenly over the batter by the tablespoonfuls and use a knife to marble/swirl through the cake.

Bowl for Kids' Sake

Our daughter, Trina, is a Development Associate for big Brothers Big Sisters in CR. We are not close enough to benefit in our area, but it is a wonderful organization that helps many kids, so we are happy to try to support them. This year we decided to try to raise money for Bowl for Kids' Sake which is a HUGE chunk of their budget for the year.

Members of our bowling team:
Birthday boy!

Thank goodness for bumpers!

Clara was insistent that, "I can do it myself!"

Another birthday boy! Nate had pretty good form, and only used the rack a few times.

Maddux was a cheerleader, but he rolled it down the lane a few times too.

A General Mills guy was thee handing out cereal and dancing, and photo bombed Nate,

Grandpa and Tanner also bowled. Trina worked as she is in charge of it. I opted out since I had taken a spill on the ice and my knees weren't quite up to it.

We enjoyed a good meal at Red Robin and celebrated our three February birthdays with free sundaes!!

THANK YOU to everyone who donated!

Side Note: Our goal was to raise at least $140. I was amazed at how hard it was to raise money for such a good cause. I sent out an email to both buildings that we work in and got $0. I sent out another email to specific coworkers that we have close connections with and got $0. I emailed friends, family, and book club members, and posted on Facebook, and that's where I finally got some money donated, but still disappointing. If everyone we approached had donated $1 we would have exceeded our goal. I'm not sure what that says, but we'll do it again next year.
